Team Building Through Sailing

Ride out into the beautiful waters of the Gold Coast on 10 meter performance luxury catamarans. Relax, enjoy the amazing sights, and get to know the others on your vessel. Then, the Regatta begins!

While this team building activity can be set up as a race to see who reaches a destination in the least amount of time, it can also be effective simply as a team sailing activity. Each participant will be challenged with all of the various activities required to successfully get their boat to common waypoints. There will be Navigators, Operators, and a Sailing Coordinator. Team members will rotate through all of the different positions to help facilitate an understanding of the complexities of each position and the need for everyone to work together in order to reach the destination.

The challenges of Crew Synergy Sailing are made safe for all participants by only sailing calm (but navigationally challenging) waters as well as having a Safety and Support Vessel close by at all times. The route is also marked with buoys and channel markers so everyone can stay on course.
